Features and Operating principle
The "FITOFLUVER" natural compact domestic constructed wetland system with prefabricated tanks represents the ideal solution for wastewater treatment for residential systems up to 20 P.E. (Population Equivalent). Its efficiency, superior to commonly proposed activated sludge plants, guarantees consistent performance over time with almost zero maintenance. The treatment takes place inside the tank thanks to a pump that creates a continuous recirculation of sewage from top to bottom through a complex layer of drainage materials. Oxygenation from the plants and the combined purification action of volcanic lapilli and the zeolite filter complete the treatment to the parameters required for compliance with Table 3 of Legislative Decree No. 152/2006. The system is so efficient that with a surface area of just over 5 m², it can treat wastewater for up to 20 P.E. using herbaceous plant varieties that are NOT necessarily specific to phytodepuration.
Applications
Domestic Constructed Wetlands with FITOFLUVER vertical flow prefabricated tanks find their application as a natural secondary treatment for residential wastewater—previously treated with Imhoff tanks and Grease Traps—to obtain discharge water with physical-chemical parameters compliant with Table 3 of Legislative Decree No. 152/2006.
Supply Specification
Supply and installation of a Compact Phytodepuration System for the treatment of wastewater comparable to domestic sewage coming from pre-treatments (Grease Trap/Soap Separator-Imhoff Tank) code FITOFLUVER_ __, for ___ P.E., water supply 200 l/P.E./day, daily hydraulic flow rate Qg= ____ m3/day, surface load ____ sqm/P.E., plant dimensions: cm ____x____xh___, produced under UNI EN ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
The Compact Phytodepuration System is supplied complete with:
- Inlet channel DN300 with DN160 corrugated PVC sleeve;
- 0.25 kW 230 V electric pump with magnetic float for sewage distribution over the entire surface;
- Electrical control/management panel with PLC, with Touchscreen display and customized 24-hour operation logic;
- Wastewater distribution piping in 40 mm diam. PEAD, 3 mm micro-perforated, complete with 110 mm diam. micro-slotted corrugated piping, PEAD compression fittings, line end caps for future cleaning and inspections;
- Mix of filling material consisting of perlite and expanded clay with neutral pH, 4/8 mm washed gravel, and 30/60 mm washed pebbles;
- Micro-perforated outlet channel DN160 in PVC complete with corrugated sleeve;
- Supply and planting of specifically designed and customized plant species;
- Consumables.
Treatment Guarantee:
Legislative Decree 152/06 Part Three, Annex 5, Table 3 "Discharge into Surface Waters", provided that the qualitative and dimensional values of the incoming flow to the treatment itself are respected and guaranteed.
The system is suitable subject to the opinion and authorization of the competent authorities.
